Lately...

Yup, I'm terrible at blogging. I know I've told you this before, but I just thought I'd let you know again. The best way to keep up with me is by following my Facebook page.

Lately...

1. Summer was crazy busy. Life is finally slowing down and I'm loving having a routine again. Routines are good. Especially for ADD, creative, artistic, people like ME :)

2. I flew to Flagstaff, Arizona to shoot my friend Whitney and her husband Derek's wedding! It was an absolute gorgeous wedding. I felt so privileged to be able to be a part of their day.

3. I saw the Grand Canyon for my first time. It was epic. And breathtaking. If it isn't already, do yourself a favor and put it on your bucket list of places to visit.

4. I started a part-time nanny job for a little 4 month old baby girl named Sydney!

5. My mom ALWAYS nagged me for signing up for the big GunnaGetWed Bridal Showcase that happens two times a year here in Sioux Falls. It never was something I was interested in until this summer. I contacted my friend Dave of Perceptive Films to see if he'd like to share a booth rental space with me. He agreed, and sure enough, last week we successfully endured our first ever Bridal Showcase! Although so much time, money, and hard work went into this event, it was well worth it. I met hundreds of amazing brides that day. I know my mom would have been proud of me and if she could, she would have been standing behind my booth, supporting me and helping me out with anything that needed to be done.

6. Brianne gave herself an early Christmas present... a new iMac computer :) I'm in love with it. It's super helpful when editing pictures.

7. I renovated/painted/distressed my first ever two pieces of furniture. Not gonna lie...I'm pretty proud of them :) I love my turquoise dresser and vanity. Not to mention, they look adorable in my room.

8. My dad got a Harley. A little scary but so much fun :) A lot of our evenings have been spent out cruising Sioux Falls and stopping by our favorite fro-yo place, Red Mango!

9. I continue to spend a lot of time with my family, including my little nephew, Beckett and my soon-to-be two year old niece, Ellie! I joke around saying they're the best birth control ever but they sure make being an aunt a lot of fun :) I love those two kidlets to the moon and back!

Well, here's until next time....which could be another 3 months from now ;)

Sejnoha {Family}

From helping out with my sister, with Ellie & Beckett, to spending time with family, biking on the trails, enjoying the nice weather, and catching up with friends, I've also stayed busy with my photography business! I'm excited to say I booked another Arizona wedding in September :) YAY!

Last weekend I got to take the Sejnoha's family photos out at the Japanese Gardens! Even though the sun wasn't out and the rain hadn't fallen yet to "green" everything up yet, we still got some awesome shots! So, without further ado, here's a little collage of the Sejnoha Family for you to look at :)

Kelsey Hall {Maternity}

On Sunday I got to meet Jordan and Kelsey Hall for the first time! We took some beautiful maternity photos of Kelsey at Fox Run Park in Colorado Springs. In about 4 weeks they're expecting a little baby BOY :) I can't wait to meet him!

Here are few of my favorite photos…enjoy!

Mr. & Mrs. Mercer {Wedding}

Last weekend I flew to Chandler, Arizona to see my two dear friends James and Lacie get married, who I met at The New Life School of Worship in 2009-2010.
I love weddings. Everything about them. I love the decorations, the flowers, the music, the dresses and tuxes, the cute little flower girls and ring bearers, and all the little details to make everything perfect! They're my absolute favorite type of photos to capture.
James and Lacie's wedding was breathtaking. They got married at The Villa Siena, a beautiful venue near her home town, which made picture taking quite easy since it was gorgeous inside and out. Not to mention, the weather couldn't have been ANY better!

It was so fun to be a part of their special day. I love Lacie and James and I'm excited for their new journey together as Mr. and Mrs.

Now, the moment you've all been waiting for…PICTURES!!! :) Enjoy looking through them as much as I enjoyed capturing these beautiful moments and memories.

Lacie with her beautiful bridesmaids!

Hands down, the cutest flower girls I've ever seen

I think Lacie should quit her day job and become a model ;)

James, the Canadian groom, and his studly groomsmen

James and Lacie didn't see each other before the wedding, but they requested to take a few photos before the ceremony with a wall in between them. Let's just say it was a pretty emotional, but yet a beautiful moment for Lacie & James :)

the phenomenal (and YUMMY) cake!

Apparently something was very funny during the ceremony :) Love this candid.

"You may now kiss the bride!"

Mr. & Mrs. Mercer!

Making it official!

The amazing wedding party! Three of the groomsmen are from Canada! Pretty neat, eh? ;)

Wes, Joanna, & Everly {Family}

I had the privilege to take Wes, Joanna, and Everly's photos a few weeks ago. I just LOVE this family and I'm so blessed to know them. They are incredible parents to sweet little Everly. Wes is an amazing pastor and leader, and Jo is a beautiful woman of God who I look up to and admire. Thank you for letting me capture just how beautiful your family is. I love you guys - enjoy the photos!

{Seriously?! Look at all this cuteness!}
